Live music rarely exists in isolation.

An Artist needs Venues and Festivals in which to perform. A Venue depends on Artists, audiences and often Vendors. Festivals bring together performers, traders, organisers, staff and visitors across many different spaces and schedules.

Music Kite is designed around those relationships.

Rather than treating every profile or event as a disconnected listing, Music Kite links the people, places and experiences involved.

An Artist profile can connect to upcoming performances. A Venue can show what is happening across its different Areas. A Festival Edition can bring together its Programme, Artists, Stages, Zones, Vendors and visitor information. A Vendor can show where they are appearing and how people can find or contact them.

More than a Gig directory

Music Kite helps people discover Gigs, but it is not limited to conventional live performances.

The platform supports a broader range of Scheduled Items, including performances, workshops, talks, competitions, markets, exhibitions and community experiences.

Each Scheduled Item can be connected to the correct Artist, Venue, Festival, Programme, Stage, Zone, Venue Area or external Place.

That means the information can be useful both before an experience and while it is happening.

A visitor can discover what is on, understand where it takes place, save it to My Schedule and return to the same information later.

Music Kite gives Artists, Venues, Festivals and Vendors a structured public presence built specifically for live culture.

Profiles can include identity, descriptions, images, links, upcoming activity and relevant relationships.

Music Kite Live Hubs can then use the same information to power dedicated public pages, embeddable content and website experiences without requiring the owner to maintain the same details in several different places.

The aim is simple: update the information once and make it useful wherever the audience finds it.

Plan and take part

Fans can follow public profiles and save experiences that interest them.

My Schedule brings saved Scheduled Items together into one personal view, helping people organise what they want to attend across Venues, Festivals and other live experiences.

Festival Explorer takes this further for participating Festival Editions, combining maps, schedules, Programme sections, Stages, Zones, Facilities, Vendors and practical visitor information into one connected guide.

Connect the digital and physical experience

Music Kite Connect brings real-world participation into the platform.

A fan can use one private Music Kite Pass across participating experiences. Authorised staff can use Connect for attendance, access, checkpoints, Venue Areas, loyalty, rewards and allocated benefits.

This allows Music Kite to distinguish between something a person discovered, something they saved and something they genuinely attended or participated in.

Connect is designed around privacy and least disclosure. Staff see only the result needed for the interaction rather than somebody’s wider private account information.

Free and Plus experiences

Music Kite is designed to provide useful Free accounts while offering optional Plus tools for people and organisations that want to do more.

Free accounts provide the foundations for joining, creating a presence, discovering the network and using core features.
