Profiles and Scheduled Items are linked, so a visitor can move from an Artist to their upcoming appearances, from a Scheduled Item to its Venue, or from a Festival Edition to its Programme and participants.

Fans can follow Artists, Venues, Festival Brands and Vendors from their private account.
Following creates an ongoing connection rather than treating each visit as a one-off interaction.
It can help Music Kite organise the profiles a fan cares about and support relevant discovery and notification experiences.
Following is separate from attendance. It simply means that the fan wants to stay connected to that public profile.
Save experiences to My Schedule
When a fan finds a Scheduled Item they are interested in, they can save it to My Schedule.
My Schedule provides one neutral place for saved experiences across the platform.
It can include different types of Scheduled Item rather than only conventional Gigs.
A saved item can show:

- Festival Edition

Festival Explorer turns a Festival Edition into an interactive visitor guide.
Depending on the Festival, an Explorer can include:
- multiple Explorer Sites

- Zones and Areas
- Scheduled Items
- Programme Sections
- Artists
- Vendors
- Facilities
- welfare and safety information
- transport and practical guidance
Visitors can move between published Sites without leaving the Festival Edition experience.
Saved Festival activity can connect with My Schedule and the visitor’s itinerary.

Artists, Venues, Festivals and Vendors can create structured profiles tailored to their role.
Profile owners can add identity, descriptions, images, links and relevant public information.
They can also manage relationships and activity connected to their entity.

A Live Hub can be used as:

- an embeddable website section
- a profile or schedule module

Artists, Venues, Festivals and Vendors can choose suitable modules, configure their presentation and publish the Hub through the appropriate Plus tools.
Because Live Hubs use Music Kite data, information can remain consistent across the profile, public pages and external website delivery.
Find professional opportunities
Music Kite helps Artists, Venues, Festivals and Vendors discover suitable professional opportunities.
Eligible organisers can create opportunities or invite participants.
Artist Plus and Vendor Plus accounts can use their approved professional availability and opportunity tools to discover relevant work.
Scheduled Items remain closed to unsolicited participation by default. An organiser must deliberately open an eligible item, and the relevant Plus and permission requirements still apply.
Receive and manage enquiries
Eligible profiles can enable public enquiry routes.
Enquiries are delivered through the shared Music Kite communications system, allowing authorised owners and managers to see and manage relevant conversations.
